I’m Matteo Fiocco, an independent Business Central Solution Architect, developer and AI consultant.
My background is in Microsoft Dynamics. I started as a developer, working directly with code and business requirements, and over time moved into solution architecture and more complex technical projects.
Today, I still enjoy building things. The difference is that my toolbox has become much bigger.
Alongside Business Central, I spend a lot of time working with Artificial Intelligence: testing new tools, building assistants and agents, automating workflows and exploring how AI is changing software development and everyday work.
I work with companies and Microsoft partners on Business Central projects that require solid technical experience and a practical approach.
My work includes custom AL development, integrations, architectural design, modernization and support during critical phases of a project.
Because I have worked both close to the code and at the solution level, I can move between technical detail and the bigger picture without losing sight of either.
I care about clean code and good architecture, but also about deadlines, users and what happens when the solution goes live.
I didn’t become interested in AI because it was suddenly everywhere.
I became interested because I could see it changing the way I worked.
It helped me research faster, develop software differently, challenge ideas and automate tasks that used to require a lot of manual effort. From there, experimentation became a serious part of my professional work.
Today, I help other people make the same transition: moving from occasionally chatting with an AI tool to actually using AI as part of a process.
That includes standalone AI projects as well as solutions connected to Business Central. The technology may be different, but the question is always the same: does it create real value?
Giving someone access to an AI tool is easy. Helping them use it well is another story.
That is why training has become an important part of my work.
I create practical sessions for companies, developers and professionals who want to understand what AI can do, where its limits are and how to apply it to their own work.
I prefer live examples, real use cases and honest discussion over generic presentations. AI becomes much easier to understand when people can see it working on problems they actually recognise.
I’m curious by nature and fairly direct in the way I work.
I like experimenting with new tools, but I’m not interested in adding technology just to make a project sound more innovative. If a simpler option works better, I’ll say so.

Building things that can be maintained
Sharing knowledge instead of keeping it locked away
Testing ideas quickly before investing heavily
Being honest about what AI can and cannot do
Writing and sharing are a natural extension of my work.

I don’t want to present myself as someone who has every answer. I prefer to share what I’m testing, what I’ve learned and what I think is genuinely useful.
